Short Update

Here's a short update on my program. SAM, which stands for South Australian Matriculation. The short one year program which only takes into account 30% of your grade in the final assessment but 70% of your internal assessments, can kill. When I first asked about it at the fair, 70% internally and 30% externally makes the program sound easy, but think clearly because you've got to work twice as hard off your ass to get that 70% counting throughout the whole damned year. Yes, and its exhausting. You'd be hoping for a break almost every week. And yes, I've made it through the 70% of all my 4 subjects but Mathematics as the last 7.5% is after my trials, which is next next week. Yes, trials. Right now. And I'm blogging. LOL. However, right now, I'd say that I will miss taking SAM with all my college mates. Yes, I'll miss the amazing pork noodles that you'd have to wait an hour before it comes on a normal lunch day. The fried rice next door. Curry Laksa a few doors down. And JoJo :) hahahhahahaha... Lunch group these days are getting smaller and smaller. There used to be 7 of us. Now it could be down to 3 on some days as some wants to study in class. Yes, I'm talking about you, if you're reading this. Aiyee. Renee. Bassy. Its less than 2 months to the end of my program and then we'll all be moving on to our degree. I'm sure all A-Levels people would think SAM is easy. BUT I can tell you, A-Levels people only need to study study and more study and just break their head at the end of the 1 and a half years or some at 2 years but we SAM students, have assignments and exams that are accounted for throughout the whole year. SAM is taxing and tiring, but at the end of it, you'll probably learn that having assessments and assignments throughout the year would make you study and slightly better prepare for uni. I think. I hope. :D Well, till we meet after SAM, bloggie :)
